Lapeer, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with automotive supplier, east of Lapeer, to fill a newly opened Project Engineer role.
What you will do: The Project Engineer plans, schedules, coordinates and executes/overviews development programs from concept to launch, develops concept, design and specifications as necessary, and gives direction to Product Designers as necessary for CAD/CAE (CATIA V5) functions. The role develops DFMEA, DVP&R and PV plan, interfaces with customers regarding specifications, design and testing, and reviews drawing changes. The position ensures that QS9000/APQP requirements are met for each program, assigns part numbers per part number system, and leads VAVE/Kaizen activities for projects assigned. Additionally, the Project Engineer follows all ISO-14001 and ISO-TS-16949 standards.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in project engineering within the automotive industry.
