Lincoln, Nebraska – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a highly respected manufacturer of automotive components to fill a Project Engineer open due to a recent transition.
What you will do: The Project Engineer is responsible for design and manufacture analysis, rack tooling and fixture design, as well as product transition into production. The position is responsible for managing projects and teams in order to achieve rapid transition to production and for completing technical documents for product release and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submittals to customers. The Project Engineer will work closely with business development, materials management, operations, quality, supply management groups and interacts with customers frequently.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in developing products, processes or tooling as well as transitioning into production. Experience in fixture design (racking, trimming, inspection) metal finishing and stamping, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. SolidWorks and/or ProE.
