Canton, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Launch Manager.
What you will do: The Program Manager manages programs from concept through the life of the project, arranges gate review meetings, documenting the results, and coordinates/communicates project requirements. The position documents executive summary updates and macro product launch timelines, while also facilitating cost estimates, financial summaries and program comparisons of actual vs quoted. The role tracks and documents program status, coordinates information flow with respect to program/product changes between the customer, sales, product development, purchasing, operations, and product line manager, and supports business/customer technical reviews. Additionally, the appointment performs detailed evaluation of program opportunities outlining all potential external risks and opportunities and communicates to the appropriate management team, while also communicating program concerns and monitors program performance metrics.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree with current experience in program management and experience in high-volume manufacturing of automotive products. Tier-One automotive knowledge.
