Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an automotive OEM. Due to recent growth within the company, they have recently opened a position for a Program Manager.
What you will do: The Program Manager is responsible for developing and tracking new projects from initial development through SOP, leads cross-functional teams and is responsible for holding meetings and updating upper management on progress and issues. The position defines a clear scope for the project, ensures that the required team members are in place, and develops quote packages and specifications to ensure a detailed response from the supplier that matches the requirement for the project. The role provides detailed analysis and review, making sure the quotation covers the entire scope of the project, tracks budgets for each project, and creates the overall detailed project schedule and weekly updates. Additionally, the Program Manager works with the internal legal department to make sure contracts are put into place with suppliers and contractors and coordinates with plant management to improve the processing or layouts of a project that improves quality and throughput of a process.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in program management within manufacturing. Experience managing multiple projects at one time. Ability to travel 50-60%. Strong lean manufacturing and capital equipment implementation experience. Experience in AutoCAD.
