Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of tier-one automotive components. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Program Manager.
What you will do: The Program Manager manages projects through complete project life cycle, develops project management plans per established project management processes and project management methodologies, and provides monthly status reports to project management organization. The role ensures customer satisfactions and manages scope changes, manages procurements, alternative vendor bids, and proper terms of procurements, and supports proposal team to review RFP (request for proposal) for complex systems and provide parts, labor estimates. The position identifies the risk factors, evaluates vendor and subcontractor bids for price, scope and technical capability, and provides proposal write up for special items so deliverable are properly described in the customer proposals.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in program management within the automotive manufacturing environment. Lean/Kaizen experience. Experience managing product launches. Union experience.
