Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com    is working with a three-billion dollar per year, global manufacturing company.  Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Program Manager.

What you will do: The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management of assigned customer product development programs including components, systems, and full platforms, while also interfacing with all levels of internal and customer management on all aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling the program and leading the program team to meet timing, quality, finance, and product requirements. The position takes personal responsibility for program success, ensures appropriate program staffing by working with management, and clarifies roles and responsibilities to ensure the smooth running of the team. The role manages/runs team meetings, manages relevant program documentation and processes (Statement of Work, Open Issues List, Timeline, Monthly Project Reports and CLauS) and establishes internal and external targets, objectives, and deliverables by working with management, customers, and program teams, while also supporting the manufacturing team (Plant Program Manager and the Launch Team) in production builds, team meetings, plant based customer reviews, and critical production preparation activities. Additionally, the Program Manager achieves all internal/external financial targets, ensures successfully completion of the program, and manages the product change process.

What you will need: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Ten years experience in the automotive industry. Current experience in a management role. Experience with Chrysler programs. Fuel/brake line experience.
