Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a tier-one automotive supplier. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Hardware Program Engineering Manager .
What you will do: The Hardware Program engineering Manager leads the software engineering interface with the customer, leads software engineering activities from pursuit of new business, through award and design development, to launch, and gathers/analyzes electrical and software requirements related to the ECU System. The role creates high levels plans for the development of ECU Subsystem, software and vehicle development, identifies/manages program risks, and manages change management for the ECU Subsystem by participating in a global change review board. The position coordinates development between customer, vehicle development and software teams, releases ECU Subsystem to the customer during development, and supports the plant on ECU Subsystem industrialization (processes, training, re-flashing, etc).
What you will need: Engineering degree in Engineering. Experience in Software Project management for Embedded Software in Automotive ECUs, preferably in powertrain or chassis applications.
