Program Manager - Asian OEMs

Rochester, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international, tier-one automotive supplier and due to recent growth within their organization, they have opened a new role for a Program Manager.

What you will do: The Program Manager leads the Product Development Team through the Five Phase Product Development Process, develops/maintains the program strategy, master schedule and park tracking system, and maintains/resolves product open issues list. The position interfaces with customer contacts and suppliers, executes product releases through the Engineering Change Management process (EFR/ECA), and facilitates/participates in product design, manufacturing and tool kick off reviews. The role schedules, coordinates and organizes the build and delivery of development prototypes, conducts project review meetings with appropriate colleagues and customers, and collects/documents lessons learned to apply to future project. Additionally, the Program Manager shuts down assembly line for quality and safety issues, makes timing commitments to teams and customers, and directs/approves product changes in accordance with project objectives.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Current experience in automotive program management. Experience with Asian OEMs.
