Warren, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Program Manager.
What you will do: The Program Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects, meeting customer demands, achieving overall project timing, and meeting financial targets. The position directs functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of tooling project within area of assigned responsibility, interfaces with the customer to coordinate all aspects of project such as technical studies, mold design, quotations for any scope change, preparation of specifications and technical plans, project timing and mold tryout. The role reviews mold design and mold flow studies for compliance with engineering principles, directs integration of technical activities and products, and evaluates/approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Additionally, the Program Manager controls expenditures within limitations of project budget, evaluates customer designed parts for molding ability and enhanced device function and makes recommended changes to improve mold conditions.
What you will need: Associate’s degree. Current experience in program manager within automotive manufacturing. Strong experience in injection molding.
