Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a world-class manufacturer of instruments for vehicles, agricultural, and construction equipment. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Program Manager.

What you will do: The Program Manager leads all customer specific program management activities from award of business through end of production, while also responsible for coordinating group activities to meet customer timing and project milestones and managing customer program budgets, including capital expenditures, D&D, resource allocation, and contribution margin to SG&A.  Additionally, the role tracks program forecast budgets vs. actual and makes necessary actions to achieve program profitability, creates/maintains a customer specific project business plan that will show all aspects of the project including achieving forecasted budget and leads the customer review meetings. The position not only manages all aspects of the change point control process (DCIS), but also program time lines, program objectives, budget and project milestones for assigned customer programs, from award of business through production launch and end of production including subsequent model year changes. Further responsibilities of the Platform Manager include coordinating submission of all customer required documents, production facilities preparing for plant audits, open issue meetings, APQP meetings, launch readiness meetings, and other customer on-site reviews.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering. Current experience in program management experience working in the automotive industry. Must have experience launching a full program at the design development cycle from early development to post launch. Ability to travel 10%-20%.
