Production Technician

Nacogdoches, Texas  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com  is working with a construction supply company that services both residential and commercial markets. The company operates out of a 20 year old mill acquired in 2002, producing 375,000 feet of high quality oriented strand board per year. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Process Technician

What you will do: The Process Technician is responsible for the operation of automated and manual mill equipment used in the production of OSB (orientated strand board). The position assists maintenance in equipment troubleshooting and with minor repair, makes entries in log book and computer databases regarding process problems, changes made, environmental issues, etc, and assists in equipment maximization and increased throughput efforts. The role operates chain saws, mobile equipment such as fork trucks and front end loaders, and mill controls from a control room environment.

What you will need: High School diploma from a recognized public or private school system or accredited home school curriculum; or, GED. Work experience preferably in a production, manufacturing, construction or industrial environment. Forklift or Heavy equipment operation experience. Previous experience working with automated, high-speed production machinery.
