Sumter, South Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a national manufacturer of consumer products and industrial goods. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Manufacturing Production Supervisor – Offshift.
What you will do: The Manufacturing Production Supervisor – Offshift promotes a high performance culture within the value stream through proactive approach and effective communication with team members in daily meetings. The role directs/coordinates all manufacturing activities within the defined value stream, ensures safety, quality, delivery and cost of value stream are achieved while exceeding policy deployment goals and KPI targets, and assists manufacturing production in setup and production problems. The position promotes an atmosphere of continuous improvement through the implementation of lean practices, participates in Kaizen events, and coordinates with others within the facility or at other manufacturing locations.
What you will need: BS in Business or Engineering. Current responsibility in a manufacturing environment, with a focus in machining. Current experience within value stream. Track record of improving performance to targets in previous roles. Experience with Kaizen and lean initiatives; Green Belt Certification is preferred.
