Tupelo, Mississippi – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a construction supply company that services both residential and commercial markets. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Production Supervisor.
What you will do: The Production Supervisor supports production to ensure a quality panel is produced, while ensuring productivity, consistency, and plant and member safety standards are met. The role leads a team of 15 or more production, mechanical, electrical and quality team members. The position hires and trains process staff and identifies potential problems. Additionally, the Production Supervisor manages the performance of team members, including communicating expectations and motivating members.
What you will need: Experience in wood processing, ie: tissue, board, paper, pulp. Solid understanding of all processes related to production and manufacturing in general. Current experience in supervising members in a non-unionized environment.
