Fenton, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a national supplier of manufactured goods that feed into a multitude of industries. Due to the recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Master Scheduler.
What you will do: The Master Scheduler develops the master production schedule using MS Dynamics ERP system to prioritize requirements of manufactured parts to meet customer demand. The position uses lean inventory principals to manage manufacturing quantity’s/lot sizes, develops balance between existing and future client demand needs with manufacturing ensure completion of customer demand, and maintains schedules for manufacturing departments. The role evaluates data inclusive of enterprise requirements for planning information, prepares reports required to facilitate and suggest actions to assure optimal execution of supply chain and manufacturing efficiency, and oversees reasons to schedule changes and ensure root causes for volatility of schedule being resolved. Additionally, the Master Scheduler monitors all problem inventory and takes advantage of conversion opportunities.
What you will need: Strong experience working in manufacturing. Current experience in scheduling. Firm understanding of lean inventory. MS Dynamics experience a plus. Experience in developing and implementing scheduling master plans.
