Newnan, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a fast-growing Tier 1 supplier of component parts to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, the company has a newly opened position for a Production Manager.
What you will do: The Production Manager is responsible for the coordination, direction, and management of a group of teams to ensure that targets and objectives are met, assists teams in the prioritization of activities in order to achieve the objectives, and leads the shift supervision team to ensure that shift, daily, and weekly goals are achieved safely. This position will have several direct reports including the production supervisors and a planner which will account for half of the manufacturing for this facility
What you will need: Current manufacturing experience in a high volume automotive environment Working knowledge of all activities in all areas of manufacturing process. Quantifiable leadership experience managing both salaried and hourly employees, Experience with APQP, GD&T, Automotive quality and appearance standards, and grain requirements. Injection molding/tooling experience is highly preferred.
