Fort Wayne, Indiana – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Production Manager in eastern Fort Wayne.
What you will do: The Production Manager increases company profitability by providing quality products to customers, meeting production requirements, and maintaining a safe workplace. The role recruits, retains, and manages subordinate personnel to ensure well-qualified and motivated departments, evaluates production capabilities, and reviews manpower requirements while adhering to budget. The position reviews/prioritizes day to day production concerns and shipping demands, is responsible for plant safety, emergency preparedness, and plant housekeeping, and reviews Customer Quality concerns and resolutions. Additionally, the Production Manager supports/encourages continuous improvement activities, conducts employee performance reviews for department personnel minimum annually, and works in compliance with ISO 14001/TS16949 standards.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in production management. Familiarity with TS16949/ISO14001, accident prevention, workplace inspection and measurement of equipment. Familiarity with an MRP system in an automotive manufacturing environment.
