New Haven, Connecticut – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with growing client that services a myriad of industries with their products. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Product Manager.
What you will do: The Product Manager is responsible for the management of the individual OTC specific Applications such as Plumbing, Electrical, Electronic, Tele/Datacom, Automotive Aftermarket (EETDA) and CATV. The role captures applications and client needs from a technological as well as business perspective, identifies regional market potentials of the individual applications and the competitive situation as a basis for the final consolidation by Product Marketing, and defines the product development roadmap. The position coordinates individual projects, provides application trainings, and leads the cross functional application team, e.g. Sales, R&D OTC. Additionally, the Product Manager analyzes specific data, KPI’s and business drivers to provide timely and prepares topics and presentations for or at Management meetings at OTC.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Aptitude for the detection of technical associations and technical customer needs. Knowledge of development principles and how to apply those principles. Experience in product management or technical sales management, preferably in an industrial application environment. Experience in the Plumbing and EETDA or CATV industry is a major plus.
