Syracuse, New York – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading manufacturer of capital equipment for both industrial and consumer use. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a new position for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer.
What you will do: The Product Manager – Transport is responsible for working with senior Product Managers to create and deliver the product strategy for the company and its key customers. The role has responsibility for product roadmaps, product definition, product realization, sales growth, financial analysis, customer service, and quality issue resolution, while also serving as a controls expert. The position leads the development and manufacturing of embedded electronic controls, communications devices and peripherals for transport refrigeration products, leads significant customer interface with equipment teams to capture current and future product needs, and converts identified needs into innovative controls solutions and product roadmaps. Additionally, the Product Manager – Transport conducts financial analysis and projections for proposed products, ensures programs perform successfully by establishing the necessary requirements and overseeing program plans, and measures, evaluates, analyzes and achieves profitability and sales forecasts for existing products, comprehensively supporting the financial planning and analysis function of the business unit.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in product management. Development and execution of product strategies experience for HVAC and refrigeration controls for global customers. Experience with financial projections.
