Auburn Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international manufacturing company. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Product Development Manager.
What you will do: The Product Development Manager is responsible for the design & development of vehicle systems and parts, and documents related to design changes. This position acts as a liaison between the engineering, manufacturing and sales groups with regards to design development issues. The role leads engineering groups, liaison groups and modification design groups, supports localization of the parts of our products, and interfaces between design groups, plants, and suppliers. Additionally, the position serves as main engineering contact for products, interfaces with customers to understand design priorities and manages engineering programs, design records and engineering documentation.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience with technical discussion with parts suppliers. Design experience using CAD (CATIA V5) required. Current group management experience.
