Process Technician - Power Distribution

Aiken, South Carolina  – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a power distribution company and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Process Technician.

What you will do: The Process Technician performs the daily start of shift cell audit, focuses on maintaining and minimizing re-work and scrap in the cell through pro-active product audits and checks, and regular communication with the cell supervisors and operators, and performs insert changes and mold changes within the molding department within the target change-over times. The position logs and records all changes, troubleshoots and corrects molding process, and optimizes processes to maintain the highest possible quality and throughput. Additionally, the Process Technician proposes long-term corrective actions and fixes to the process engineer, plans/performs mold cleanings, mold changes, and insert changes by working with production to minimize down-time and shift disruption, reviews production schedule to plan optimal mold change frequency, per priority requirements, and performs general maintenance and preventative maintenance, perform maintenance tasks.

What you will need: Experience in power distribution. Current experience in a process technician role. Knowledge of power systems. Experience in manufacturing.
