Des Moines, Iowa – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a world-class supplier of products to a myriad of industries within manufacturing. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Process Technician.
What you will do: The Process Technician provides technical support for the molding operations including preparation, set-up and troubleshooting of machines and secondary processes. The role sets-up, starts and troubleshoots presses using established process control methods, sets-up straight forward open and closed molds as well as more complex molds with multiple core pulls, auxiliary hydraulics and manifolds, and changes end of arm tooling and loads robot program into press. The position monitors press cycle to ensure that presses are running to routing standards, initiates corrective action for jobs running out of standard cycle, and sets-up and troubleshoot secondary equipment. Additionally, the Process Technician participates in 5S Kaizen events as directed by supervisor.
What you will need: High school diploma. Experience in injection molding. Understanding of the fundamentals of RJG technology via e-dart control. Experience in basic robotic troubleshooting on end of arm tooling. Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift.
