Novi, Michigan- Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Our client is a major Tier One for German automotive company. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a FMEA Facilitator.
What you will do: The FMEA Facilitator moderates FMEA team meetings, assures documentation of FMEA in APIS, and is responsible for methodology and software support for the FEMA program. The role summarizes top risks and action plans on FMEA cover sheet, conducts audits of FMEAs at appropriate intervals, and confirms audit corrective actions and sharing lessons learned. The position participates in customer initiated audits, follows up with completion of the audit action plan, and supports/conducts FMEA training for core team members and plant facilitators.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Automotive manufacturing experience. Strong experience with FMEA processes. Knowledge and experience in quality management systems (QMS) including ISO/TS 16949; auditing. Knowledge and experience in MSA, SPC, PPAP, FMEA, APQP, Control Plan. Knowledge in GD&T,DVP&R, Gauges, problem solving and lean manufacturing principals. Knowledge of welding, metal forming and metal fabrication. Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability.
