Process Engineer - Tier One Automotive

Germantown, Wisconsin – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com     is working with a world leader in the tier one automotive space.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Process Engineer.

What you will do: The Process Engineer is responsible for the performance of the production processes for manufacturing powder metal components, the transitioning new business from RPPC for developing and refining production processes involved in the launch of new products (APQP) to ensure cost, timing and quality targets are achieved or exceeded and is considered the in-plant part expert for their respective product group. Additionally, the position develops and maintains flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plans and process sheets, while also identifying and executing projects for the ongoing improvements of products and processes using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies. This post supports RPPC for prototypes, new product development and identifying costs to create the next generation of products, the installation, start up, and debugging of production equipment, and develops engineering drawings and specifications.  Lastly, this role identifies and executes opportunities to increase value to the customer and maximizing profitability through VA/VE methods, while also leading cross functional teams to meet project objectives.

What you need: BS degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a high volume manufacturing environment, new part submission (PPAP) for automotive applications, and the ability to use AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Inventor.
