Process Engineer – Automotive Thermoplastics

Wapakoneta, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier of manufactured products and due their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Process Engineer.

What you will do: The Process Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining a processing environment that is capable of handling large volumes of quality plastic materials. The role recommends process settings to improve or maintain the current process capability, establishes process conditions for new equipment and processes, and maintains records of process and trial conditions. The position recommends process equipment and improvement to existing process equipment, reviews/approves the process section of production work orders, and maintains the extruder barrel and screw for all extrusion lines. Additionally, the Process Engineer assists production personnel in troubleshooting of equipment as required, presents reports to Management on process capability and history, and prepares/presents project status reports for management.

What you will need: B.S. in Engineering. Current experience in process engineering within manufacturing. Experience with plastics.
