Hopkinsville, Kentucky – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Process Engineer.

What you will do: The Process Engineer participates in APQP initiatives, determines the best method to salvage non-conforming materials, and develops new production methods using engineering principles. The position reviews process for material savings, scrap reduction, material-handling reduction, and efficiency improvements while making recommendations and helping to implement upon approval. The role develops and implements new production equipment, monitors plant layout to improve process flow and material-handling, and formulates, updates, and enters into Bill of Materials software system.  Additionally, the Process Engineer develops internal quote for new products and receives, catalogs, and stores production parts as well as quotes engineering drawings.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in process engineering within an automotive manufacturing environment.
