Preventive Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

Elizabethtown, Kentucky – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with an international supplier of automobile components. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Preventive Maintenance Planner/Scheduler.

What you will do: The Preventive Maintenance Planner/Scheduler ensures equipment availability of resources and materials to perform planned work, performs purchasing for components and materials, and creates, uses, and maintains machine history and other technical files to include information in current job plans to anticipate and avoid job delays. The role evaluates job feedback to improve future work (parts, tools, time, etc.), scopes the full extent of maintenance work needed, and develops a 1-week schedule for each crew of work orders from the waiting-to-be scheduled file list. The position begins coordination of work involving advance notice to contractors, coordinates/negotiates available time of lines with productions leaders, prepares KPI reports, and writes applicable maintenance procedures that promote defect-free maintenance work quality. Additionally, the Preventive Maintenance Planner/Scheduler applies continuous improvement to current maintenance processes.

What you will need: Journeyman level or higher experience in designated craft. Current experience in prevantitive maintenance. Proven experience in planning/scheduling. Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment maintenance in industrial processes. Knowledge of safety hazards and appropriate precautions applicable to work assignments. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Experience reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
