Dayton, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international manufacturer of commercial and industrial capital equipment. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Sales Applications Engineer, just north of Dayton.
What you will do: The Sales Applications Engineer is responsible for developing solutions to customer needs as part of the commercial HVAC business. The position engages customers, develops an in-depth understanding of customer needs, conceptualizes solutions, presents timely solutions to the business team and to the customer and completes necessary designs thru the NPD process when necessary. The role manages technical communications to support customer development and product enhancements, assists on business development projects in market research, marketing, and sales strategy and identifies/interprets technical requirements, deliverables, dates and other noteworthy programmatic details/constraints. Additionally, the Sales Applications Engineer prepares total quotation package and provides front end support.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current sales engineering experience. Experience within application and design. Current experience with HVAC or electric motor systems. Familiarity with power electronics equipment including VFDs. Ability to travel up to 40%.
