Atlanta, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Electronic Component Engineer in Decatur.
What you will do: The Electronic Component Engineer defines preferred components (manufacturers and series) and advice engineers, evaluates alternative components to match the preferred components (this also requires testing and reporting on the component), and communicates with component manufacturers about component specifications. The role maintains the component database and works with sourcing on cost reduction roadmap.
What you will need: BSEE. Current experience in electronics manufacturing. Broad experience with power electronic components. Component engineering experience. Cost engineering experience.
