Kent, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of heavy truck products and accessories. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Systems Integration Engineer.
What you will do: The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for all engineering documentation related to systems integration of existing products onto various trailers, troubleshoots problems and discusses solutions with all appropriate personnel to assure quality, safety, production, and plant profitability. The role is responsible for detail design, modeling, and detail drawings, interacts with suppliers to resolve issues, and directs install and fabrication in production of new product integration and sales specials. The position supports manufacturing, edits existing bill of materials, and bills of operations in MRP/ERP as needed, and creates part numbers and product structures in MRP/ERP (BOM’s, BOO’s). Additionally, the Systems Integration Engineer support sales, develops knowledge of industry, and manages projects from inception through completion- including fabrication, installation first article inspection, and testing.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. MRP/ERP data entry experience. Basic industrial engineering knowledge. OSHA safety standards knowledge. Extensive knowledge of Trailer design and manufacture. Past experience with; Mac, East, E-Pac, Heritage, Trail Star, Sommerset Welding, Summit, Trail King Ti-brook.
