Plant Quality Manager - Interiors

Humboldt, Tennessee – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leading tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Quality Manager.

What you will do: The Quality Manager develops/maintains quality systems to assure compliance of company manufactured products and purchased material to meet or exceed all customer requirements. The role manages, trains, and directs department associates in quality assurance policies and procedures, responds to all external and internal customer inquiries and concerns in an effective and expeditious manner, and acts as the direct contact during customer complaint notice, advance quality planning and networking relations. The position ensures implementation of the quality system by performing audits, analyzes data, and develops continuous improvement strategies, while also focusing on internal production process with emphasis on scrap, rework and reject materials. Additionally, the Quality Manager directs the activities of subordinates in order to achieve departmental goals while developing associates with proper training and feedback and interacts with the external certification body for the successful completion of all third party TS audits.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Broad experience in automotive quality including knowledge of QS, ISO and TS guidelines. Current experience in management within automotive manufacturing.
