Plant Manufacturing Manager

Mankato, Minnesota – Movement Search & Delivery     movementsearch.com    is working with one of the world’s leading manufacturers in automotive, commercial truck and consumer goods industries. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Plant Manager.

What you will do: The Plant Manager develops/implements an overall plan of production to support steady growth in implementing the company’s vision for the future. The position interprets company policies to workers, enforces safety regulations, and conducts accident investigations, facilitating appropriate countermeasures.The role develops and monitors plant budget and plant P&L, supports the new product development process, and studies production schedules and forecasts to develop resource planning, while also establishing work procedures to meet production schedules. Additionally, the Plant Manager implements changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew, confers with supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments, and reacts to business indicator trends, adjusting operation plans accordingly.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in plant management within a manufacturing environment. Strong tier-one experience. Proven history of budget and personnel management.
