Lancaster, Pennsylvania – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a tier-one, automotive supplier looking to fill their newly opened Plant Manager role.
What you will do: The Plant Manager manages and oversees overall plant operations, while making recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. The role provides leadership and financial monitoring for the successful day-to-day operations of the facility, maintains/drives facility safety and housekeeping program/policies, and monitors operation expenses, identifying ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality. The position establishes plant goals while providing resources to allow for successful goal attainment, is responsible for the reporting and validation of weekly and monthly facility financial and Value Created Plans (VCP), and ensures all environmental compliance reporting is kept up to date. Additionally, the Plant Manager maintains a good working Union/management relationship, assists Finance in development and execution of the plant manufacturing budget, and conducts performance appraisals.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Engineering. Current experience in plant or engineering management, preferably in a union environment. Six Sigma certification.
