Plant Finance Controller

Wixom, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Our client is a major Tier One for German automotive company. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Plant Controller.

What you will do: The Plant Controller provides monthly financial reports to management, analyzes procedures and processes in order to ensure that they are in line with group policies, and is responsible for maintaining all financial policy and procedures especially for SAP. The role gathers all overhead costs, develops machine rates for machine cost centers with SAP, and incorporates investment budgets and calculates depreciation, while also running all SAP routines to derive final budget (P &L Statement). The position manages EDI processes with customers, sets up new SAP users, and maintains user authorizations. Additionally, the Plant Controller runs unlimited retro-pricing in system, sells precious metals from recycling process on spot market, and maintains signing authority for all bank accounts.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Accounting and Finance. Experience in plant controlling position for an automotive supplier. Strong understanding and hands on experience with SAP. Knowledge of continuous improvement of products for manufacturability. Knowledge of federal and state regulations and GAAP. Experience handling full P&L responsibility.
