Kinards, South Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a construction supply company that services both residential and commercial markets based out of an orientated strand board mill built in 1999. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for an Electrician.
What you will do: The Electrician inspects, installs, repairs, adjusts, constructs, modifies, calibrates, programs and wires electrical and electronic apparatus, devices, and circuits of any voltages in the mill or assigned area. The role troubleshoots, corrects and repairs process electrical problems, process control issues and electrical systems in a heavy industrial environment, works with electronic system controls and circuits, and assists mechanical maintenance in equipment installation, troubleshooting and repair. The position installs, replaces, and removes electrical motors, makes adjustments on AC frequency or DC motor controls, and makes the appropriate connections and disconnections for electrical and/or electronically controlled valves. Additionally, the Electrician makes entries in log book regarding problems, changes made, update prints and job status and assists in equipment maximization.
What you will need: High School diploma. Electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment. Knowledge of AC frequencies and DC motors. Experience with electrical wiring and circuits. Working knowledge of industrial process controls and instrumentation. Working knowledge of PLC’s including installation, programming and troubleshooting.
