PCB Engineer

Novi, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier to the automotive industry and due to recent growth within their company, they have opened a position for a Radio Frequency Engineer.

What you will do: The Radio Frequency Engineer designs/develops products to meet existing customer requirements and develops new innovative products for future automotive applications. The position designs passive receiving elements such as masts, glass antenna patters, and PCB type antenna structures, while also designing schematics and circuit boards. The role  builds/tests prototype designs and works with antenna simulation software, while also recommending new tools for future process improvement.

What you will need: BS in electrical engineering. Experience with PCBs. Direct experience in designing automotive antenna products is desired. Significant background in passive antenna design and simulation, and/or amplifier design and/or simulation is desired. Experience with antenna simulation software (CST / HFSS or similar) is a plus. Experience with AM/FM roof antennas, hidden antennas, instrument antennas, SDARS/GPS patch antennas, short mast antennas, and GSM &/or CDMA antenna elements is desired. Experience with keyless entry and remote start antennas is a plus. Experience with field testing of automotive antennas is a plus.
