PCB Designer

Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com  is working with a global tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Senior Printed Circuit Board Designer.

What you will do: The Senior Designer performs Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and schematic work as part of the global engineering services team in the company’s global electronics division. This role not only performs design work but also utilizes both mentor design tools/functionality and custom scripts to produce all drawings and output files for fabricator and plants, while also participating in design reviews with engineering. Additionally, the position interfaces with mechanical CAD for mechanical/PCB interference checks and participates in global team meetings to ensure consistency and technical issues are identified and resolved.

What you will need: High school diploma with a Mentor certification. Current experience in electronics technology. 5+ years of automotive PCB design with experience working on boards with RF and EMC requirements. Ability to produce high quality, complex, multi-layer designs for RF and EMC sensitive products. Experience using DXDesigner Expedition 2005.3 and EE7.9.2 or higher version of Mentor software.
