PCB Designer

Farmington Hills, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a PCB Designer.

What you will do: The PCB Designer is responsible for keeping accurate layout documentation for Schematics, BOM, PCB, gerbers, panelization and labeling. The role assists internal and external assembly houses to ensure PCB assemblies are manufacturable, while also interfacing with optical, hardware and mechanical engineers to define outline, keep out, and component placement of all PCB assemblies. The position is responsible for schematic capture, part definition, PCB library and board layout for luminaire light engines, sensors, battery backups and peripherals. The role generates component footprints and definitions in 2D and 3D, works side by side with designers to define and document bill of materials including alternate component lists, and works with PCB vendors to optimize panel layouts.

What you will need: Experience with PCB design and layout. Experience using CAD design software.
