Dayton, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a growing manufacturing client in West Virginia and due to this growth, they have opened a position for a Production Supervisor.
What you will do: The Production Supervisor leads the day-to-day direction of production operators in the operation of an assigned area ensuring the compliance of safety, quality, and production requirements among team members. This role is responsible for providing appropriate orientation to new employees, ensuring new employees are given the information, technology, and reference materials necessary to perform their jobs, and coaches, teaches, and develops employees on a daily basis, while also assigning daily work to employees. The position is responsible for evaluating and documenting employee’s performance, works with HR to ensure hourly reviews and corrective actions are completed, and is responsible for daily editing and approval the time clock. Additionally, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the upkeep of employee training records and for housekeeping on the shift and being tour ready at all times.
What you will need: Associate’s Degree. Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
