NVH Engineer

New Bremen, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a company that fully designs, manufactures and distributes moving equipment for all types of manufacturing.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Engineer – Noise, Vibration, and Harshness.

What you will do:  The Engineer – Noise, Vibration, and Harshness performs standard acoustic and vibration testing for mobile industrial equipment such as radiated sound power, vehicle pass-by, operator exposure and whole-body vibration. The position acquires, analyzes, and interprets powertrain and vehicle NVH test data for analytical model correlation and sound quality analysis, while also developing and performing jury testing and analysis. The role develops sound quality targets and provides technical direction to design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and suppliers to implement modifications.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Current experience working in the area of NVH and/or SQA concepts. Field and/or lab data collection experience with a strong background in digital signal processing and data analysis. Experience with B&K Pulse, N-Code Glyphworks, and/or Actran is highly desired.
