National -Reseller Sales Manager

Chicago, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with one of the US leaders in fluid power distribution. Based on their growth, they have a newly created position for a National Reseller Sales Manager west of Chicago.

What you will do: The National Reseller Sales Manager hires, trains, and establishes development programs for all reseller account managers, establishes overall business goals, and develops/implements sales approach and marketing plans. The role analyzes results versus expectations and makes appropriate recommendations to improve future projects, while also implementing individualized sales processes and tools to best grow business within specific market segments. The role interfaces regularly with vendors, coaches account managers through systematic conversation and activities, reviews/manages the performance objectives of all reseller account managers, and maintains open communication with all managers and associates of sales, customer service, operations, engineering, service/repair, warehousing, and shared services. Additionally, the National Reseller Sales Manager trains, coaches, and develops the reseller team into a future role in outside sales.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Strong inside sales experience. Current experience managing a team of sales representatives. Experience in an industrial distribution or manufacturing environment. Experience with fluid power products is a plus. Familiarity with a wholesale distribution enterprise management software suite. Familiarity with “Trend” SW is a plus.
