Motors/Drives Sales Specialist

Columbus, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a world leader in the design and manufacturing of motors, motor controls and power electronics product.  Due to their continued growth and increase in market share, they have a newly created position for a Sales Specialist – Electric Motors.

What you will do: The Sales Specialist – Electric Motors represents the company, by introducing new products (electric motors and variable frequency drives), demonstrating the differentiating competencies, and opening/developing new accounts. The position seeks and nurtures direct sales and customer relationships, tracks channel accomplishments, and improves product sales opportunities. Additionally, the role manages assigned territory as well maintaining sales and generating new business, coordinates ongoing management of accounts with the inside sales team, and works with manufacturers reps and distributors to develop and manage markets and territories. Further responsibilities include identifying customer’s current and future needs, conducting personal sales calls routinely and establish good long-term relationships, meeting the sales and gross profit goals for accounts within territory, and closing the sale by addressing customer concerns and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business with experience in a technical sales role with electrical products. Outside sales representative experience. Experience selling distributed control systems, electric motors or variable frequency drives.  This is a home-based position that will cover a 3-base operation.
