Houston, Texas – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a 100 year old world leader distributed control systems. Due to their continued growth and increase in market share, they have a newly created position for an Applications Engineer.
What you will do: This role will act as the technical expert for the sales team and customer. This position will develop strategies to provide product configurations involving all design, production, availability and performance of Uninterruptible Power Supply business. The Applications Engineer will make key decisions regarding assigned projects with the responsibility for project P&L and transfer cost targets while assisting the sales department with product support including technical presentations, classroom training, negotiation meetings, preparation of quotations. Further, this role will receive and review written technical specifications and prepare quotations for products.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience with electric motors, variable frequency drives, uninterruptible power supply.
