Clarkston, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an international group committed to the design and production of hi-tech systems and components for the automotive sector. Due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
What you will do: The Mechanical Maintenance Technician inspects, dismantles and repairs all mechanical, hydraulic and control systems to ensure proper operation, while additionally performing both maintenance on all production equipment/machines and preventative planned maintenance task work, documenting all activity.
What you will need: High School diploma required. Experience in maintenance work in automotive manufacturing. Fork lift license. Ability to interpret mechanical prints, drawings, and schematics needed for maintenance and repair of plant equipment and machinery. Machining machine ability (lathe, milling, drilling). Maintenance book knowledge. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, power transmission, lubrication, pumps, and piping.
