Mechanical Engineer-Suspensions

Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com    is working with a growing Tier One automotive supplier. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have newly opened position for a Mechanical Engineer-Suspensions .

What you will do:   The Mechanical Engineer will develop composite coil spring for automotive suspension products. Plan, design and develop product, processes and tooling. This role will manage projects within timeline and guidelines, developing product test plans, analyze results, failure analysis, propose and implement changes in product and process

What you will need:   Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Current experience in design of automotive suspension products.  Experience in test laboratory of automotive.  Basic chemistry knowledge of epoxy resin systems used in composite manufacturing  Proficiency with solid modeling in Catia V5/6 or similar Proficiency with FEA, Ansys or equivalent.  Programming and operation of a CNC mill Basic knowledge of casting and/or injection molding processes.   Basic knowledge of machine controls (ladder logic, PLC, HMI)
