Orlando, Florida – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a leading Tier-One supplier. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Instrumentation Engineer – Gas Turbines.
What you will do: The Instrumentation Engineer – Gas Turbines is responsible for developing instrumentation design packages for gas turbines in the Americas. The role develops/complete instrument data sheets, develops instrumentation instillation and hookup detail drawings, and develops instrumentation specification and design drawings. The position interprets P&ID (piping and instrumentation design) diagrams to develop instrumentation requirements, interprets customer contracts and reflects technical requirements in purchase specifications, while also preparing procurement datasheets and instrument lists. Additionally, the Instrumentation Engineer – Gas Turbines evaluates vendor proposals, making recommendations for selected vendors, presents technical data to internal/external customers, leads team in organizational initiatives, and develops cost estimates/technical presentations.
What you will need: Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Current experience in instrumentation engineering. Experience with design engineering. Knowledge of gas turbines.
