Orlando, Florida – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a 100 year old power generation company. Our client is stable, growing and R&D focused. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Mechanical Engineer.
What you will do: The Mechanical Engineer reviews customer data and provides recommendations for improvement on all policies, procedures, operations, and technical issues, while also creating, developing, and enhancing team site and tracking system for fleet operations. The role interprets, applies, and develops technical drawings, procedures, and other relevant engineering documentation to resolve operational/reliability issues, understands, manipulates, summarizes, and presents mathematical formulas and calculations as they pertain to performance and predictive modeling for power plant operations, and develops and implements resources and troubleshooting tools. The position provides key suggestions for continuous process and procedural improvements and supports and implements new strategies to enhance the operation.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Mid-range engineering experience. Knowledge of database software. Current experience in a mechanical engineering role. Current experience working with turbines.
