Hopkinsville, KY – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Materials Planner.
What you will do: The Materials Planner enters data into the MRP system, reviews BOMs (bill of materials) for accuracy, and updates the Materials Manager on any potential part issues. The role updates and distributes weekly cycle count and updates Schedule Agreements as needed by Buyers. The position checks all parts from the warehouse management system for accuracy and updates part list to provide logistical assistance to packaging department. Additionally, the Materials Planner is involved in monthly and quarterly physical inventory process of raw materials.
What you will need: Current materials planning experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive. Current SAP experience. Current MRP systems experience.
