Greencastle, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international manufacturer. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Materials Manager.
What you will do: The Materials Manager is responsible for managing the planning, scheduling, control and distribution of materials. The role manages/coordinates all activities involving information systems, assists the manufacturing manager with setting goals and planning operations, and coordinates the various departments’ operations to assure that production, safety, quality and cost goals are met. The position manages the activities of shipping, receiving and warehousing of manufactured, purchased and finished goods, reviews performance goals monthly with manufacturing manager, and ensures inventory auditing and control procedures. Additionally, the Materials Manager manages the KanBan and supply chain programs, coordinates with the corporate traffic department on both inbound and outbound shipping arrangements, and manages the production planning, scheduling and execution functions to ensure performance goals are met.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in materials management.Experience in manufacturing.
