Crofton, Kentucky – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an international supplier of automobile components. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Materials Control Coordinator.
What you will do: The Materials Control Coordinator ensures delivery of components to assembly areas and final products to customers, monitors receipts and shipments in QAD system, and coordinates product techs in the material handling and shipping areas. The role coordinate deliveries of productive goods to assembly and shipments to customers, develops/maintains visual controls, and maintains mobile equipment, while also scheduling inbound and outbound freight. The position offers ideas for improvement of all systems, leads area in achieving plant quality objectives/goals, and maintains the appearance of a world class facility. Additionally, the Materials Control Coordinator supports full implementation of the 5S’s, using it to approach and keep all areas clean, neat and properly maintained.
What you will need: HS diploma. Current experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting. Experience in receiving in a manufacturing setting. Experience with MRP systems/QAD. Experience with receiving procedures and the associated paperwork.
