Newnan, Georgia – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a privately held multinational company in the automotive space. Due to recent growth, they have a newly created position for a Material Supervisor, just east of Newnan.
What you will do: The Material Supervisor is responsible for scheduling of materials for the mill, press, and saw departments to ensure optimal production with no downtime. The role assists with inventory issues and updates/maintains planning files in MAPICS on a timely basis, planning information on part numbers, including lead times, safety stock, shrink, mult, and min. The position schedule mill, presses, and saw runs, sets up shipments to all outside processors, communicates/monitors inventory of outside processors. Additionally, the Material Supervisor reviews mill and saw schedule daily, receives inventory, reviews MRP results each week, and assists with month-end procedures.
What you need: HS Diploma. MAPICS certification preferred. Current experience in manufacturing scheduling and planning. Experience in automotive manufacturing.
